Bobby S., Healthcare Operations
Kelsan designs and installs custom wash water treatment systems that clean, reclaim, and responsibly discharge contaminated wash water—giving your operation a safer, more efficient, and more compliant way to work.
For over 75 years, Kelsan has helped facilities across the Southeast run cleaner, safer, and more efficiently. That same commitment now extends to one of the toughest challenges in facility maintenance: managing wash water.
Client Case Study
A heavy equipment earthmoving company was operating an active wash pad that had fallen out of environmental compliance due to unmanaged wash pad water runoff. Our team came onsite to review the existing wash pad, observe daily wash habits, and evaluate how water, oils, and solids were being handled across their operation. From that assessment, we designed a custom wash water recycling system built specifically around their equipment size, wash volume, and site layout.
The completed system captures all wash pad runoff, separates oils and heavy solids, and treats the water using a combination of mechanical and chemical filtration. The recycled water can now be reused through their pressure washing equipment or safely discharged to the sanitary sewer — all while meeting compliance requirements. The company is now back in compliance and able to wash equipment confidently without concerns around environmental violations or water usage.
Turn a waste stream into a resource.

Built around your water sample & contaminant profile
Semi-permanent systems (approx. 600-gallon capacity)
Integrated filtration, separation, and biological treatment
Ideal for high-volume wash operations
Treat water to meet local discharge requirements. If your goal is to safely send treated water to the sanitary sewer, Kelsan engineers a system that aligns with municipal standards and your facility’s operating conditions.
Full pre-installation water testing
Designed to meet oil, grease, solids, & organic discharge limits
Adjusted as regulations or processes evolve
Ideal for manufacturing, rental yards, and fleet operations
A practical solution when sewer or reuse isn’t an option. Kelsan’s evaporation systems help reduce wastewater volume on site—especially valuable for locations with limited sewer access or complex permitting.
Reduces hauling and disposal requirements
Can be paired with pre-treatment
Supports remote or space-limited operations
